You write nothing about local affairs concerning the zemstvo campaign. The conciliators assert that the Tver Committee is leaning toward their side, citing as proof your correspondence published in No. 79 of *Iskra* under the signature: "Tver Committee." Through a comrade we sent you a letter informing you of the publication of the new newspaper of the majority, *Vperyod*. There we explain in detail what compelled us to begin publishing the newspaper, clarify its tasks, and so forth. Inform us whether you received this detailed letter of ours, and write your attitude toward it. For God's sake, write about the state of affairs, about local work. We are in complete ignorance of how work is now proceeding in Tver, whether there is literature, technical facilities, whether leaflets are being issued, what kind, how extensive the committee's connections are, how the zemstvo campaign is being conducted, and so on and so forth. Repeat: 1) about Rogova, 2) about Bolshak, 3) about Dedushka.
