...of the committee of committees of the majority (or rather the Bureau of Committees of the Majority)?

Can I speak here on behalf of the bureau? Can I name the bureau as the publisher of the new organ and the organizer of the editorial group? This is extremely and most urgently necessary. Answer immediately, after speaking with Ryadovoy, to whom you must say and repeat that he must leave at once, immediately, without delay, if he does not want to ruin himself and cause terrible damage to the cause. They are talking incredibly everywhere abroad: I myself heard it when I was at lectures in Paris, Zurich, etc. A final warning: either he must flee here at once, or he will ruin himself and set back our entire cause by a year. I am not undertaking here, and will not, to present any ultimatums about the congress to anyone, for this will only provoke mockery and ridicule; there is no need to play out comedies. Our position will be ten times cleaner and better if we come forward openly with the bureau of the majority and openly come forward for the congress, rather than with some backstage foolish negotiations, which at best will only serve to delay matters and create new intrigues on the part of Glebovs, Konyagins, Nikitichis, and other vermin. Here the entire majority is in turmoil, suffering, and thirsting for an organ, demanding it everywhere. It is impossible to publish without a direct mandate from the bureau, but it must be published. We are taking all measures with money and hope to obtain it: you obtain it too. For God's sake, give us quickly the authority to publish on behalf of the bureau and print a leaflet about it in Russia.
