The letters on the tasks of revolutionary youth could be distributed according to the following plan:

I. What does contemporary student youth represent and in what does the task of its ideological unification consist?

II. The significance of Marxism in the work of revolutionizing student youth [in the revolutionary movement].

III. Social-Democrats and Socialist-Revolutionaries in Russia. Their theoretical and tactical differences. Terror.

IV. Questions of student organization from the point of view of "revolutionizing student youth."

V. Student youth and the working class (?).

* Correspondingly. Ed.

Insufficient class determinateness of 6 groups: autocracy determines more than anything (reactionaries – culturists – liberals). Petty bourgeoisie, workers, bourgeoisie – class groupings are already taking shape[101].

Progressive significance of class (and political) differentiation. Example: academicists and their separation from the "liberals." This separation does not hinder but rather aids political utilization [development, growth].

"Ideological unification." Quid est?[102] Whom with whom? Academicists + liberals? Liberals + socialists?

Only Socialist-Revolutionaries and Social-Democrats?

Ideological unification = dissemination of definite ideas, clarification of class antagonism, ideological demarcation.

Ideological unification = dissemination of ideas capable of leading forward, ideas of the advanced class.

Revolutionary Marxism, its emergence in Europe before 1848, its role in Western Europe and Russia.
