**Students**

The Congress greets the revival of revolutionary self-activity among student youth, proposes that all party organizations render every possible assistance to this youth in their strivings to organize themselves, and recommends to all organizations, groups, and circles of students: first, to place in the foreground of their activity the elaboration among their members of a coherent and consistent revolutionary worldview, serious familiarity with Marxism on the one hand, and on the other hand, with Russian Populism and Western European opportunism, as the principal currents among the contemporary contending advanced tendencies; second, to beware of those false friends of youth who distract it from serious revolutionary education by means of empty revolutionary or idealist phraseology and philistine lamentations about the harm and uselessness of passionate and sharp polemics between revolutionary and oppositional tendencies, for these false friends in reality spread only unprincipled behavior and frivolous attitude toward revolutionary work; third, to endeavor, upon transition to practical activity, to establish connections in advance with social-democratic organizations in order to make use of their guidance and to avoid, insofar as possible, major errors at the very outset of the work.
