Please write to me exactly when the conference in Brussels will take place, how many days it will last, and whether you can come here. Then, perhaps it would not be out of place for you to make use in one way or another at this conference of the fact of the formation of the Organizational Committee? Write soon, and we shall inquire of Russia: perhaps even some declaration or letter from there to you might arrive in time, if that were needed.

Do you see the Life-ists*? How is the "rapprochement" with them progressing and what are the chances? And what about the Work-Daily-ists? It would be good, in my view, if they too participated in your "Marxist circle" and if one could begin (informally) to draw closer to them. Given the present time, it is not wise to quarrel with them, and there is no reason to: by replacing "Rabochee Delo" with "Red Banner," they have in essence accepted our plan of "distribution of literary functions," and in Martynov's pamphlet "Workers and Revolution" there is nothing harmful (except the stupid "clairvoyant").

Shaking your hand firmly.

P.S. I am at fault regarding the Bulgarian**. I confess. I did not write because there were no instructions, and I did not suspect that you were concerned.
