Dear G. V.! We received your proofread copy for “Iskra” — just in the nick of time. The tenth issue will be published in a week.

Bonch-Bruyevich sent us a letter via Ditz, stating that he had forwarded to you the article “Victims of Russian Tsarism,” and that you had allegedly told him you would forward it on to us.

What’s going on here? I simply cannot recall anything about this.

Alexei heard something about it a year ago, but as far as we know, we never actually received the article.

Please reply as soon as possible—what is the matter? We need to return the article without delay, as Bonch-Bruyevich has earnestly requested.
