Dear P. B.! I am sending you the article by Nevzorov, which he has revised. The question regarding it has boiled down to this dilemma for us: either to publish it in Zarya or to refuse publication altogether. The votes are evenly split (Aleksei and Arsen'ev for, Velika Dmitrievna and I against). Please cast your vote. I must say that I am particularly outraged by the fact that everyone (even Arsen'ev!) declares the article "vile," "treacherous" (this is how G. V. described it) - and yet they still talk about publishing it! In my opinion, this is the worst kind of indulgence and connivance. In defense of the article, they say: "This is a letter from a contributor to the editorial board. It would be awkward to refuse." In my view, if a contributor takes such a stance, we should precisely put a stop to it. Let him go with God to Rabocheye Delo (Nevzorov even wrote to us, asking if we were against this!!? Sic!) - we will much better "document" his position and criticize him more freely than in our own Zarya. (One of the arguments in favor: publish it to have an opportunity to respond to widely disseminated arguments.)
So, decide the matter!

And what about Finn's article? If it is substantial (as you wrote), shouldn't we publish it in Zarya? Could you send it?

How is your health? I heard that you are not far from Thun, but I hope the letter will be forwarded.

When do you plan to visit G. V.? We are counting on you regarding the program.

Well, goodbye! I wish you a good recovery and I shake your hand firmly.

Yours, Petrov
The seventh issue of Iskra is coming out soon. An article by G. V. (the second one against Struve) has been sent to Zarya. Next will come - Nevzorov's, Aleksei's, Velika Dmitrievna's, Arsen'ev's, on the agrarian question (I am writing)* and G. V.'s against Bernstein (a review of the Russian translation of his book). There is no foreign review. Perhaps Dannevich will write one?

For Iskra, he has already sent the second letter (it will go in No. 8).
