11/III 01 [Munich].
Dear P. B.!
I received your letter today (with a copy of the overly laudatory review by the Parisians) and hasten to send you another copy of DO 2. How did I overlook that the copy I sent you was so bad?
However, I had absolutely no choice then.
Leiteisen's article, in my opinion, is not quite... but, it seems, it will still be useful.
Others apparently found it better than I did.
I have no idea about Schöwer.
I'll ask others.
I am sending the issues of Weltpolitik that I have. If you need them all in order, you will probably have to contact the author himself, who is once again obligingly printing his address.
"Zarya" has proofread the last sheet 1).
Soon...
Alexei [Martov] wanted to write about the 20th anniversary of 1/II 2). He wrote, I don’t know.
I expect him soon.
I shake your hand firmly.
Yours, Petrov.
1) No. 1 of "Zarya" came out on March 23, 1901; Vladimir Ilyich informs Axelrod about the imminent publication of "Zarya."
2) An article about the twentieth anniversary of the execution of Alexander II by the Narodovoltsy (March 1, 1881). There is no article on this topic in either the third (April) or the fourth (May) issue of "Iskra."
30.
