10/X/00 [Munich].
Dear P. B.!
I received your letter with the attachments.
Thank you for them.
Regarding the English magazine (it had 2 correspondences)
my sister [A. I. Elizarova] says she doesn't remember the name —
as if something like Famely Pictures *) — yellow cover with red drawings,
illustrated magazine, format larger than Neue Zeit 2), about 10 printed sheets, supposedly gave
it to you for me, in the presence of your wife.
Alexei 3) is safe, writes, is busy establishing connections. He will be free in a month and a half to two months,— hardly earlier.
My brother 4) is still here, keeps postponing.
Statement 5) will be ready in a few days, and I will, of course, send it to you.
There is already a lot of correspondent material for the newspaper, —
it is only a pity that narrow-worker content prevails, strikes and more strikes,
and descriptions of the situation of workers. Nothing on internal issues
in general.
Dietz 6) has undertaken to publish a journal for us.
The type has been purchased, but there is still no responsible editor; one combination failed; there are
others in view.
If we do not find a responsible editor 7), we will move
the printing house to another place.
How is your health? Are you working? Probably Paris has exhausted you completely?
Please let me know about the article on Liebknecht 8)
for the journal and for the newspaper, — how things are going and when can
we expect it?
I shake your hand firmly and wish you to be completely healthy and have more free time.
Your Petroff.

V. I. LENIN — P. B. AKSELROD.
