February 21, 1899

I am sending you another review, Mother dearest, and ask you to send it on to the
writer. [2] I have never received the Ribot booklet that Anyuta promised; I am surprised
at this and it is strange that Anyuta should single out
the page on which the type is supposed to be the same as
that used in the “markets”—page 24. Is Ribot’s book set
in different types? This book is of no importance to me
in itself, by the way, since I hope to get the first batch of
proofs soon.

We are all well here, there is no change, but we are expecting visitors this
week. [1]

We are enjoying spring weather; it has been thawing for several days.

Yours,

V. U.

Regards to all.

Nauchnoye Obozreniye for some reason do not think it necessary to send me either the first issue of the journal
or reprints of my article. I have heard about P. Struve’s
objection but have not yet seen it. [3]
